Lakshmipat Singhania Academy is a school that looks beyond – with a judicious blend of academic excellence and co-curricular brilliance.  The Academy has maintained its rank for the last 8 years, as West Bengal’s No.2 & Kolkata’s No.2 co-ed Day School in the ‘Education World’ India School Rankings 2021. The Academy was also awarded “The School of The Year” last session at The Telegraph School Awards 2021.

The school that was established in 1996, has gradually evolved into a CBSE affiliated K-12 co-educational day school. Apart from the regular subjects in Class XI – XII, Mass Media Studies, Legal Studies, Fashion Studies, Financial Market Management, Web Application, Commercial Art and Food Nutrition & Dietetics are being offered to the different streams.

Our school is among the 257 schools in India that have been selected to set up the Tinkering Lab in the first round, to promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Our students are bringing laurels at the National and international level. The ace project is an IT meet of the school – exe.BIT where the students showcase their IT skills.

Year after year our students have participated in the Educational programme at NASA as well as in NASA’s Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC).  Here too our teams have won the ISSDC four times held in 2013, 2014, 2016 and again in 2019 in Florida, USA.

International student exchange programmes are a regular feature here and we are the learning partners of various schools abroad. Our school is also an AFS member school and we have promoting year-long exchange programs since 2017. Our students have visited USA under the Kennedy - Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Abroad Program, to Japan under the Asia Kakehashi Program, to Hungary under the AFS Peace program, to London under the AFS Sustainability and Social Innovation Programme.

Our students have been placed in the top colleges and Universities, both in India and abroad.

Students are taking part in National tournaments like Chess, Athletics and Roller Skating and bringing laurels to the Academy.
